- 1996 Currencies Direct is founded, and we make our very first money transfer
- 1999 We open our first European branch in Torrevieja, Spain
- 2004 We open our office in Cape Town, South Africa
- 2005 We expand our operations and open our office in Mumbai
- 2005 We make it onto the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list
- 2007 We open our office in the USA
- 2008 Our online money transfer service launches
- 2009 The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorise us
- 2010 We achieve the highest possible credit rating, level 1, with Dun & Bradstreet
- 2012 Our group is recognised as a Global Growth Company by the World Economic Forum
- 2012 We appoint PwC as our auditors
- 2013 Our employee numbers exceed 250
- 2013 We expand our operations to Malta and Ireland
